OUTBREAK OF PARALYSIS
TWO MORE CASES IN WELLINGTON
(P.A.) WELLINGTON, Sept. 24. Two new poliomyelitis cases, were reported in Wellington to-day—a boy aged four months and a girl aged 19 years, both from Wellington city. POSITIVE CASE AT ARATIKA A positive case of poliomyelitis at Aratika, between Stillwater and Otira, has been reported to the Health Department in Christchurch. The patient—a girl, aged eight—was last at school on September 17, The Aratika School has been closed and will reopen on October 4 if no other cases are reported. The patient has been admitted to the Grey Hospital.
