FOUR MORE CASES OF POLIOMYELITIS
(P.A.) WELLINGTON, September 22. Three cases of poliomyelitis were admitted to hospital in the Wellington health district to-day. Two boys were admitted from Lower Hutt and a girl, aged 11, from the Masterton district, was found to be a positive case. One of the boys, aged 14. is a brother of a poliomyelitis case admitted to hospital some days ago. A positive case of poliomyelitis in Marlborough was notified to-day. The patient is an eight-year-old boy from St. Omer, Kenepuru Sound. The boy has not been out of the St. Omer district for some time and has had no contact with any of the previous Marlborough cases.
