STOCK EXCHANGES PRICE MOVEMENTS IRREGULAR A fair volume of business was recorded on the Christchurch Stock Exchange yesterday, and price movements were irregular. Ballins Breweries were fractionally firm with business at 365. The fullypaid and contributing shares of N.Z. Refrigerating Company were easier at 39s and 19s respectively. OTHER EXCHANGES SYDNEY Prices declined over a wide range of stocks on the Sydney Stock Exchange yesterday. The business was the widest for some time, but there was no pronounced selling pressure and falls were light. The downward swing in prices is attributed by leading brokers to the Berlin crisis, the slump on the New York Exchange, and the weakening trend in the London share market. Industrial shares sagged in sympathy.
