ACCIDENTS
MOTOR-CYCLIST INJURED Injuries to his head were suffered by Jack Hadley Kirkwood, aged 28, ox 156 Shirley road, when he fell off motor-cycle at the corner of ChurduH street and Cambridge temce evening. He was admitted to Christchurch Public Hospital at Oj* p.m. His condition was reported to w satisfactory last evening. SHUNTING ENGINE AND CAR COLLIDE (P.A.) INVERCARGILL, July %>■ In a collision between a sh®sJJ engine and a car driven by Heaiej Ford, of Invercargill, the car waf practically destroyed. Mr Ford wy admitted to the Southland HosptW suffering from shock. The acOlogj occurred on the Tweed street crosses shortly before 11 o’clock.
