Shark in Manukas.—A mako shark, nine feet long and five feet In girth, was shot with a rifle by Mr Len Peterson, who was fishing for snapper from his launch in the Manukau harbour on Sunday. In a lifetime of fishing in the Manukau he has seen only three mako sharks, and landed all three. — (P.A.)
