VISIT OF OLD VIC COMPANY
ARRIVAL IN SEPTEMBER "The Press” Special Service AUCKLAND, July 19. The Old Vic Theatrical Company, headed by Sir Laurence and Lady Olivier, which is at present touring Australia, would commence its New Zealand tour in September, said Mr D. D. O’Connor, when he arrived from Sydney by air yesterday afternoon. Mr O’Connor will direct the New Zealand tour in association with the British Council. *
Plays to be presented by the company in its nine weeks’ tour of the four main centres would be "Richard III,” "School for Scandal,” and "Skin of Our Teeth.” The company would return to England from New Zealand in November.
