Power for South Island The South Island power position was still satisfactory, said the Electricity Controller (Mr A. E. Davenport) yesterday. The allocation last week was 13,721,000 units and consumption 13,984,000 units. 1.9 per cent, above the allocation. The present storage is 74,853,000 units and the amount used from storage last week was 1,800,000 units.—(F.O.Q.R.)
