Voice Shatters Glass Bowl.-—When listening to the radio at her home at Monto, 150 miles north of Brisbane, Mrs R. Willis decided to enter into the spirit of the performance. She tried herself out against the singers on a record, hitting, she said, “the highest note that I have ever struck.” The sound waves travelled from the lounge through a corridor to the kitchen, and shattered a green glass mixing bowl which she had bought only half an hour before. The title of the radio song was. “Anything You Can Do, I Can Do Better.” —Brisbane, July 19.
