PRICE FOR N.Z. CHEESE

INCREASE OF 12.7 PER CENT. NEW CONTRACT WITH BRITAIN (P.A.) WELLINGTON, July 19. Under the terms of the new contract with Britain for the sale of New Zealand’s dairy produce, the price next season for cheese will be 133 s sterling per cwt f.o.b. This is an increase of 15s on last season’s price. The new price represents an increase of about 12.7 per cent, on last season’s price, compared with an increase of 14.5 per cent, in the butter price, which was announced last week.
