GRANT TO FIRE BRIGADE The Lyttelton Borough Council last evening granted £5O to the Lyttelton Volunteer Fire Brigade towards the cost of holding the inter-provincial Volunteer Fire Brigade Associations’ competitions on the occasion of the celebration of the Lyttelton Brigade’s seventy-fifth anniversary during Labour Day week-end.
