ASSOCIATION OF N.Z. CAR CLUBS
The first meeting of the Association of New Zealand Car Clubs will be held in Christchurch this week. The association, which was formed about six months ago, will act as a parent body, to which will be affiliated all sports car clubs in New Zealand. All clubs are sending delegates to the meeting. The association will control car club meetings and allocate championship events, and arrangements are being made to affiliate with the Royal Automobile Club, England, so that any record times here will be officially recognised as New Zealand records.
