MINOR FIRES
Two fires were dealt with bv the Christchurch Central Fire Brigade yesterday. At 8 a.m. the brigade extinguished a chimney fire at 17 Albert street. Unwood, on premises occupied by Mr George Edward Crellin. A motor-car owned by Mr Frank Clifford Milne, 20 Mayfield avenue, St. Albans, caught fire at 8.7 p.m. The outbreak was caused by a back-fire No damage was done.
