BURMESE CABINET RESIGNS

< Rec 7 p.m.) RANGOON, July 15. 1 The Burmese Cabinet has resigned, but the President (the Saooalong or I Yawng Hwe) has asked the Ministers to remain in office until the eleci tions earlv next year. Earlier, four Ministers had asked tor , commissions in the Armv. presumably to fight the Communists. Their resignations followed those of the Prime Minister (Thakin Nu). the Foreign Minister, the Defence Minister, and , the Commerce Minister. It is believed that the resignations arose from a feeling that the Government was not doi ing enough to suppress the Communist I uprising.
