ROCKET RANGE IN AUSTRALIA
SECURITY CHECK ON STAFF (N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) SYDNEY. March 20. A special security check on ail the staff engaged for the rocket range project in South Australia has been instituted, it is understood, after conferences between the British and Australian authorities. Evidence of Communist interest in the project was gathered some time ago. soon after the initial construction work was begun. . Known Communist sympathisers were found working as prospectors around the area of the rangehead construction works.
