FIGHT IN FRENCH UPPER HOUSE
PROPOSAL FOR PURGE OF COMMUNISTS PARIS, March 18. Fighting broke out between Communist and anti-Communist members of the French Upper House to-day, when Mr Monnat, a supporter of General de Gaulle, called for a purge of Communist elements in the French Atomic Energy Commissariat. Members exchanged heated insults and soon came to ©lows.
