AVON BRANCH OF TOC H
The athletic section enjoyed a successful season. The junior athletes did particularly well on the track and in the field, but the senior athletes suffered a severe setback, caused by outside interference, stated the annual report of the Avon branch of Toe H, presented at the annual meeting recently. Officers were elected as follows:—chairman, Mr D. Thomson; honorary secretary, Mr Otto G. Rosenau; honorary treasurer, Mr E. Jones; record clerk. Mr N. Fabian; pilot, Mr J. Bruorton; padre, Archdeacon E. Osmers; job master, Mr A. Smithers; house garden, Mr R. McDonald; guard of the lamp, Mr R. Good; executive officers, Messrs J. Bruorton, N. McCracken, F, Blackler, D. Thomson.
