DUTCH REPORTS

OF FIGHTING WEST JAVA DISTRICT TROOPS AND REPUBLICAN IRREGULARS (Rec. IB P.fo.) BATAVIA. March 16. Serious fighting is going on between Indonesian Republican irregular* and Dutch troops in the rugged Madjalengka district, 25 miles south of Cheribon, in West Java, according to reliable Dutch sources. It is stated that the Dutch Army is taking action to round up'the irregulars. who are believed to belong to a Moslem youth unit called “Hisbulla.” Madjalengka U well within Dutchoccupied.
