JOCKEY’S LEG BROKEN
(P.A.) NEW PLYMOUTH, Mar. 7. Although he broke his leg against the rail over a furlong from the finish, the apprentice jockey, Gary Dulieu, stayed on his mount, Morning Dew, to fill third place in the Flying Handicap at the Taranaki Jockey Club’s Cup meeting on Saturday. He finally dismounted about 50 yards past the winning post, and held the reins of his horse. He is a son of the wellknown trainer, H. Dulieu, of Wanganui.
