FUGITIVE HUNGARIAN PARTY LEADER
(Rec. 8 p.m.) LONDON, Jan. 10. Mr Karoli Payer, leader of the Hungarian Social-Democrat Party, who escaped from Hungary on November 19, reached Paris to-day by secret underground routes. He will fly to London at the week-end to attend the international Socialist conference. Mr Payer escaped because of a threatened espionage charge against him.
