Mr Webster was discovered lying on the lawn of a property in Ferry road on Thursday morning, and died later of his injuries in the Christchurch Public Hospital. At an inquest opened yesterday morning before the Coroner (Mr Raymond Ferner) for the purpose of identification, a brother-in-law of Webster.
