WOMEN’S DIVISION OF FEDERATED FARMERS
Harewood.—The Christmas . meeting of the Harewood branch of the Women’s Division of Federated Farmers was well attended and the president (Mrs Orchard welcomed visitors from other branches. As Miss M. G. Havelaar had addressed, a previous meeting explaining conditions on the Continent and the help needed by children, it was decided to sponsor a child and Miss Havelaar was presented with £l3 IQs to help an Austrian child. Competition prize-winners were Mesdames Sharp, Collison, Moore, Evans, Broadhurst, Hay ton, Winfield, Lynn, and Nunweek. A darning competition was won by Mrs King, with Mrs L. Watson second.
