Progress of Learner-Shearers.—Re-ports from various stations where shearing was in progress indicated that learner-shearers were giving an excellent account of themselves and were making an important contribution to primary production, said the chairman of the Timaru Shearing Advisory Committee (Mr G. A. Plummer).
