MAYORS ELECTED UNOPPOSED
The following Mayors x»f principal towns in Canterbury and the West Coast were re-elected unopposed: Messrs J. M. Robertson (Westport), A. E, S. Hanan (Timaru), G. A. Harris (Temuka), D. C. McKechnie (Geraldine), E. C. Bathurst (Ashburton), and C. W. Tyler (Rangiora). Mr C. Morgan Williams was elected Mayor Of Kaiapoi unopposed in succession to Mr W. H. A. Vickery. There will be elections in the other main centres.
