CANTERBURY BEATS WEST COAST
The final representative table tennis match of the season was played on Saturday evening, when Canterbury beat the West Coast by 20 matches to 8. Results (Canterbury names first):— Men’s Singles.—T D. R. Flint beat R. Harris, 21-17, 21-13, Bnd K. Goulding, 21-13, 21-7; R. S. Gray beat GOulding, 21-18, 21-9, and Harris, 21-11, 21-18; D. I. Gray beat L. Martin, 21-14, 21-13. and J. Baddeley. 21-18, 21-11; N. W. McGillivray beat Baddeley, 21-18, 21-17, and Martin, 21-6, 21-4. Men’s Doubles.—-Flint and R. S. Gray beat Harris and Martin, 21-10, 21-9, and Goulding, and Baddeley. 20-22. 21-8, 21-18: D. I. Gray and McGillivray beat Goulding and Baddeley. 21-11, 15-21, 21-19, and Harris and Martin, 21-14, 19-21. 21-18. Women’s Singles.—Miss A. Peppier beat Miss Z. Armstrong, 21-17, 18-21, 21-16, and Miss V. Walker, 21-5, 21-15; Mrs D. McCullough lost to Miss Walker, 16-21, 19-21. and to Miss Armstrong, 24-26, 16-21; Mrs J. Fairlie lost to Miss S. Rhodes. 11-21. 14-21, and to Miss J. Walls, 15-21, 21-15, 9-21; Miss B.
