WANGANUI, October 5. The Wanganui provincial golf title was decided on Saturday, B. M. Silk (Wanganui) beating T. Casey (Wanganui) in the final, 1 up, in one of the closest matches seen for a long time. If anything, luck was against the loser. In a semi-final, Casey eliminated J. P. Horriabrook (Wellington), 2 up, and in the other semi-final, Silk beat J. Tunnell (Wanganui), 6 and 4.
