Loyal Friend Retired Loyal Friend, which won his way to good company when racing in the inter <ests of his breeder. A. J. Wilson, wco trained him at Meth ver., has been retired. Loval Friend began his career year-old in the 1940-41 season with three win* and two second placings. In tne following term. In the 1945-46 season he added £llBO to his list for four placings, including a win in the Au Revoir Handicap at the Canterbury Park Trotting Club’s meeting on December 29. a , -Loyal Friend was unplaced in his six races last season, and his owner has decided not to race him again. During the seven seasons in which he raced. Loyal Friend started in 60 races for 12 wins, 19 minor placings, and £7068 in stakes. A likely improver, Golden Game is nicely placed on the 12 yards mark in the Reefton Cup at the Reefton Trotting Club’s meeting next week and she should go close to winning the trophy for V.
