INDOOR BASKETBALL
N.Z. TOURNAMENT (P.A.) WELLINGTON. Oct. ». After two days, Palmerston North and Wellington with six wins each are the only unbeaten A grade teams in the women’s national indoor basketball championships, which were continued in Wellington to-day. Wellington and Auckland with three wins «ach are unbeaten in the B grade. Palmerston North again had easy wini and is considered to have excellent prospects of retaining the A grade championship. Results were:—
A Grade.—Nelson 23, Gisborne 22: Hamilton 24, Canterbury 18; Palmerston North 27, New Plymouth 13; Auckland 32, South land 25; Morrinsville 25, Otago 12: Wellington 36, New Plymouth 2; Hamilton 19, Southland 17; Palmerston North 40, Gisborne 13; Canterbury 15, New Plymouth 11; .Wellington 29.
