RADIO INTERFERENCE
Sir, —Please allow me space to protest about interference with the local YA station. The interference! from 3ZB on this station is cruel. One has to shut off the set, because there is one long roar except when you hear the ZB announcer. Hoping the engineer can do something to make listening worth while.—Yours, etc., _ x LESS STATIC. September 29, 1947. [The interference did not seem to be the fault of 3YA’s transmission, said the manager of 3V A (Mr J. F. Skeddon) when this letter was referred to him. If the correspondent would care to make his complaint to the radio inspector, the matter would be investigated, said Mr’ E. Pratt (radio inspector, Christchurch), when he was asked to comment on this letter!
