FERTILISER SUBSIDY

Sir, —I would like to ask the powers that be who is going to compensate us for the extra price of superphosphate for sowing down the stubble paddocks we had in wheat last year, as a lot of this land has to be sown down this spring. I have 160 acres. I think had we known it was going to be so dear, this wheat would never have been put in, as it will take a considerable portion of the wheat cheque to buy the superphosphate at this price.—Yours, etc., CULVERDEN.
