The Canterbury Pigeon Flying Club"! race from Dunedin to Christchurch on Saturday was won by H. Gascoyne's bird. No. 306' which flew the distance of 203 miles 1545 yards in shrs 23min The following were prize-winners:—H. Gascoyne’s bird. No. 306. 1109 yards a minute. 1; K. Hartland’s No 247 <llO2 8). 2; J. Howatson’s No. (1103.4). 3: M. Robinson’s No. 745 (1101). 4; R. Lumber’s No. 997 <1100). 5. J. Hartland won the nominated prize.
