Police Social. — Members of the Police Force irr Christchurch, their wives and friends, attended a social evening on Thursday in honour of Senior-Sergeant G. Taylor, who has been transferred to Pukekohe, Sergeant J. R. Williamson, who has been transferred to Lower Hutt, and Constable J. McLeod, who is retiring from the force. Mr H. Scott, Superintendent of Police in Christchurch, extended good wishes to the three officers on benalf of their colleagues.
