SHEPHERD AND PEEK IN CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL (PA.) AUCKLAND, August 29. The final of the New Zealand amateur billiards championship will be contested to-morrow by J. J Shepherd, of Auckland, the 1945 champion, and C. Peek, of Wellington. Shepherd beat A. TwohiH, of West Coast, by 666 to 477 in the first semi-final, and Peek beat W. Smith, of Canterbury, by 666 points to 56L
