THEFT OF VACUUM CLEANERS

(Rec. 9 p.m.) LONDON, August |7. Reuters reports that four meh were fined *a total of £45 at Stratford, gssex, for stealing five vacuum cleaners intended for export. The police said the men packed 19 full cartons and one empty carton in each large case and sold the cleaner they “saved,” Complaints had been received from New Zealand about short shipments.
