Gift by Taxi Drivers.— A visit was made last week to the St. Joseph’s Orphanage, Lower Hutt, by a deputation of taxi drivers, who handed oyer a cheque for £125 as a contribution towards the orphanage t ebuilding fund. This money was raised through a recent Rugby match played between Wellington and Christchurch taxi drivers.
