DEATH OF FOOTBALL PLAYER
COLLAPSE DURING GAME ip.A.) WANGANUI, August 24. Playing in the Kaierau junior team at Ratana on Saturday. Trevor James Lockett, aged 24, a son of Mr and Mrs jame§ Lockett, Wanganui, collapsed and died shortly afterwards from what are.believed to be natural causes. Lockett was moving up to a line-out. play having stopped because the ball was in touch, when he collapsed. He received attention from a St. John Ambulance man. but died in a fewminutes. Lockett served with the 25th Battalion. 2nd N.Z.E.F.. overseas.
