ARRIVAL AT CHRISTCHURCH ON THURSDAY About 350 members of J Force, who are returning to New Zealand from Japan by the transport Dunera. win arrive at Lyttelton on Thursday, August 28, by the steamer express from Wellington. With the exception o 1 those for Lyttelton and Sumner, they will arrive at Christchurch by train I at 7.20 a.m. The men for South Canterbury, Otago and Southland will leave w train at 8.35 a.m. Those going to tno West Coast will leave by train JJ 10 a.m., and those on the Westport line will leave Stillwater by rail-cjj at 4 p.m. Breakfast will be proviajo for these men at the railway refresh" ment rooms. . The personnel for Christchurch_ anc surrounding areas and for North Can* terbury who are not met by next-<»" kin at the Christchurch railway station will be taken to their homes, either W motor transport arranged by Southern Military District Headquarter* or W road services.
