COMMISSIONER OF GIRL GUIDES
MISS MARY OAKELEY APPOINTED
Miss Mary Oakeley, principal of the Craighead Diocesan School for Girls, Timaru, has been appointed provincial commissioner for the Canterbury Girl Guide Association. This is the first time that the appointment has been made of a nrc* r incial commissioner living outside Christchurch, and the commissioner’s office will now be in Timaru.
Miss Oakeley was a warranted Guider in England before coming to the Dominion some years ago. She is a former president c the Oxford University Girl Guide Club.
