ADMISSION TO U.S.
MR TRUMAN CALLS FOR INCREASED QUOTAS
(Rec. 9 p.m.) WASHINGTON, August 21. No American had any right to argue against the admission of European refugees, because all Americans were descendants of displaced persons, said Mr Truman to-day. He reiterated his support for a considerable increase in the nation’s immigration quotas to enable displaced persons from Germany to enter.
