When Pakistan begins its legal existence in a fortnight’s, time, eight of the Royal Indian Air Force’s 10 squadrons will be allotted to the Dominion of India and two to Pakistan, says Reuters. ANGLO-INDIANS LEAVING INDIA (Rec. 7 p.m.) LONDON, August 2. Uncertainty on the future of India is believed to be the reason why hundreds of Anglo-Indian families are deciding to leave India and settle in Britain and Australia, says the Bombay correspondent of the “Daily Telegraph.” The first batch of 630 persons, mostly from Bengal, Madras and the Central Provinces, will leave Bombay tomorrow in the Australian ship ‘Manoora for Sydney.
