I.L.O. CONFERENCE
N.Z. REPRESENTATION (PA.) WELLINGTON. July 30. Two New Zealand Government representatives and one nominee each from the workers’ and the employers organisations will attend the annual conference of the International Labour Organisation at New Delhi in October, The secretary of the New Zealand Federation of Labour (Mr K. McL. Baxter) announced that the federation had called for nominations for the workers’ representative. Mr Baxter said the executive of the federation had accepted an invitation to send a representative to the biennial congress of the Australian Council of Trade Unions in Melbourne on September 1.
