LORD MONTGOMERY’S VISIT
Sir,—The citizens of Christchurch, and especially the parents, have every reason to be grateful to his Worship the Mayor for the excellent arrangements made in connexion with the recent visit of Field-Marshal Viscount Montgomery. His reception was one of the best we have ever 'seen in this city, and only goes to show that, given bthe lead. “Christchurch can do it.” Yours, etc.. HEATHCOTE G. HELMORE. July 28, 1947.
