ANIMAL RESCUE WORK
A decision to form an organisation to assist Miss O. Barr, an honorary ranger of the Christchurch City Council, in her animals rescue work was made at a meeting of those interested recently. Mrs E. Pedler was appointed secretary and Mrs P. Campbell treasurer. The following committee was appointed: —Messrs C. R. Russell, R. A. Campbell, Mesdames E. M. Craig, L. Askew. Misses Mills, B. Barr, and O. Barr.
