LORD NATHAN’S VISIT TO N.Z.
„ T LONDON, July 27. T have no definite plans for my stay in New Zealand,” said the Minister of Civil Aviation (Lord Nathan), who expects to arrive in Auckland with Lady Nathan by a Lancastrian aircraft on September 25. “I am going at the invitation of the Government, and I will be entirely in their hands,” he said. "I am, of course, looking forward to meeting my old friends, Lieutenant-General Freyberg, Mr Fraser, and Mr Nash, but at present I have no particular s „i ects in mind for discussion. Both Lady Nathan and I 4re looking forward to taking 4 vacation in New Zealand, but we have not made UD our minds where to stay.”
New British Flying-Boat.—The Portsea a new two-decked flying-boat, took part in an aerial display in Hertfordshire to-day. The Portsea. which will be used on routes to India and the Far East, has accommodation for 22 passengers.—London. July 27.
