DIVORCE PETITIONS The following petitions in divorce were heard by Mr Justice Fleming in the Supreme Court yesterday:— Edward Randall Cottrell (Mr A. H. Cavell) petitioned for the dissolution of his marriage with Jane Madeline Cottrell on the grounds of respondent’s failure to comply with an order for restitution of conjugal rights. The petitioner was granted a decree nisi, to be made absolute after three months .
Terence Cecil May (Mr H. W. Hunter) petitioned for the dissolution of his marriage with Shirley Lee May on the grounds of respondent’s failure to comply with an order for restitution of conjugal rights. A decree nisi was granted, to be made absolute after three months.
Ernest Jack' Drake (Mr N. E. Taylor) petitioned for the dissolution of his marriage with Dorothy Florence Drake on the grounds of separation. A decree nisi was granted, to be moved absolute after three months.
Priscilla Isabell Congreve (Mr A. W. Brown) petitioned for the dissolution of her marriage with Harold Hugh Congreve on the grounds of separation. A decree nisi was granted, to be made absolute after three months.
William Ernest Bax (Mr W. F. Tracy) petitioned for the dissolution of his marriage with Myrtle Violet Bax on the grounds of separation. A decree nisi was granted, to be made absolute after three months.
When the petition by Henry John Sutcliffe (Mr R. Twyneham) for the dissolution of his marriage with Helena Isobel Sutcliffe (Mr W. R. Lascelles), on the grounds of separation, came before the Court, counsel for the petitioner asked for a stay of proceedings on the petition. This was granted. Leave was given the respondent to proceed on the answer to the petition. Respondent was granted a decree nisi, to be moved • absolute after three months. Respondent was given interim custody of the child of the marriage. John Frank Hibbard (Mr C. V. Lester) petitioned for the dissolution of his marriage with Mary Margaret Hibbard (Mr H. W. Hunter), on the grounds of adultery. Roger Martyn Kett was cited as corespondent. A decree nisi was granted, to be moved absolute after three months. The co-respondent was ordered to pay costs. The respondent was given interim custody of the children. John Russell Fidler (Mr J. A. Kennedy) petitioned for the dissolution of his marriage with Gwenith Florence Fidler on the grounds of respondent’s failure to comply with an order for restitution of conjugal rights. A decree nisi was granted, to be made absolute after three months.
Restitution of Conjugal Rights A petition for restitution of conjugal rights was brought by Clarence Arthur Frederick Trevella (Mr W. F. Tracy) against Rewena Mayhook . Trevella. A decree was granted for restitution within 21 days.
