Water Thrown Over Baby.—The I Hon. Mr* Ursula Broderick, of Chester sauare Belgravia, was fined £5 with 1 £lO costs, for throwing two jugfuls of water over a neighbour’s babv The nolice evidence was that the child wss in its pram on a flat roof adjoining Mrs Broderick’s flat. The baby was crying when Mrs Broderick aoneared at the bathroom window and emptied a jug of water over it Later she emntied a second jugful into the infant’s pram.—London. July 25.
