APPROPRIATIONS FOR FORCES
MEASURE SENT TO WHITE HOUSE
(Rec. 9 p.m.) WASHINGTON, July 26. Congress has sent to the White House a 5,482.529,633-dollar Appropriation Bill for the military establishment for the current financial year. This is 234,261,867 dollars less than President Truman’s Budget estimate. In addition to this cash outlay, the measure carries 430,000,000 dollars in monthly contract appropriations for aircraft construction.
