RETURN OF DUNERA NEXT MONTH
VOYAGE TO BE MADE TO SYDNEY A voyage from Wellington to Sydney with civilian passengers will be made by the troopship Dunera after it arrives at Wellington about August 27, according to an announcement made yesterday by the Union Steam Ship Company. It will bring back the second section of J Force to New Zealand for discharge after a year’s service in Japan. As the vessel will not. call at Lyttelton, about 500 South Island men will travel from Wellington by steamer express.
The Dunera is expected to make the trip to Sydney about September 2 It has accommodation for 350 civilian passengers.
