HOUSING SHORTAGE IN U.S.

Federal housing officials estimated to-day that 2,000,000 former American servicemen were so badly affected by the housing shortage that they were living with relatives by marriage or in tents, trailers, basements, attics, converted chicken-coops or other makeshift quarters.
