CASES FOR TRIAL
Ten cases are set down for trial at the next session of the Supreme Court at which will open on Tuesday Mr Justice Fleming will preside. The cases for trial arg:—Walter Ashley and John Patrick Stephen Burke, charged with theft; William Desmond Whitham. alleged negligent driving causing death; Richard Llewellyn Claridge, alleged theft; John Albert Arthur, alleged shop-break-ing and theft, and receiving stolen goods; Jack Mclntyre, alleged manslaughter; Harry Leonard Lloyd, alleged indecent assault on a male (two charges); Herbert Charles Barton, alleged breaking into a warehouse and committing theft (four counts) and alleged theft (three counts); Charles Frederick Leslie Hoyle, alleged indecent assault on a male; Faithful Charles Meikle, alleged false pretences; and Norman Cyril A. Muirson, who will be charged that while in a state of intoxication while in charge of a motorcar, by an act or omission, he caused death.
