BLANKETS
Sir, —I see Field-Marshal Montgomery has been given*two cases of blankets. So there are some blankets in New Zealand; but one cannot buy them. Not that I begrudge the present, because it will be a great advertisement for New Zealand. But poor me, who had all my blankets stolen from my luggage and cannot get any compensation from the shipping company in spite of having my goods insured! I would very much like to buy three pairs of blankets at a fair price.— Yours, etc., a A WIDOW. July 23, 1947.
